Flanged type sampling valve series 8
INTRODUCTION
The Series 8 valves have been developed to provide a flanged version for working
at higher pressures of the standard Blackfive piston type sample valves.
INSTALLATION
The valves can be installed and used on the side or base of vessels or pipelines with
ASA 300 flanges to BS 1560 ( ANSI B16.5 ) with ASA 600 flanges optional.
A range of accessories are available to collect the samples into safety sample
bottles.
A firesafe version of the valve is also available.
OPERATION
Opening and closing of the valve is by a simple crank handle with the last turn of the
handle applying pressure to the chevron seals to guarantee a leak free valve.
